Alright, so this is the only picture of the special day that I have. There are two reasons for this. First and most importantly, we weren't actually at the wedding! Because of certain circumstances, we did not make it in time. I felt so horrible for Eli. He was so upset that he missed such an important occasion. He loves his brother so much, and the thought of not being there for him hurt a lot. But in typical Eli fashion, he quickly realized there was nothing to be done and tried to enjoy the time we had with them. (We made it for a little reception at Holly's Grandma's house.) I, however, tend to hold on to these things a LOT longer than Eli and felt awful about it most of the night. Which leads me to the second reason I only have one picture.
Once we got out of the van, a tidal wave of nausea hit me full force. The smell of the food just made it worse, so I found a comfortable chair out of the way and just sat for a couple hours. Unfortunately, it was at the end of the food line! Why did I sit there you ask? It was the only chair that was isolated from the general population, and I felt it was safer to keep my distance...just in case. So needless to say, I wasn't feeling up to picture taking. I remember a recent wedding where I felt too awful to take pictures. Weddings and I don't agree lately. :(
BUT, all of that aside...Eli and I couldn't be happier for these two. We love them both so much and we wish them all the best. They are good for each other and can see a bright future for them. We love you Eric and Holly! Congratulations.
Thankfully, I do have some pictures that Jette took at the wedding. They are in the slide show below.
