Charlie...Not To Be Outdone!

Today I was at the computer and Charlie was having some tummy time on that good ol' Gymini. I turned around to check on him, and voila! He was no longer on his tummy! He, too, has rolled from his tummy to his back. So I rolled him back to his tummy and whipped out the video camera. Once again, to no avail. But you can see how hard he was working. And he almost made it! Way to go Charlie!

In other news...Charlie has an appointment to have an ultrasound of his stomach on February 9th. He spits up a lot and the pediatrician just wants to make sure everything is okay. That's at 9:30am at Children's Hospital. Then at 11:00 he has a consult for his circumcision. Poor guy. Rough day! But hopefully everything will go smoothly. Here are some recent pics of the cute boy.

Tummy time serves two functions. One is the typical function of gross motor development. The other is that being on his tummy helps with the acid reflux. Poor little guy.

We also use any tricks we can to help soothe him. The swing works...sometimes.
