My Happinesses :)

  • My babies are safe.
  • My Dad is cancer-free and recovering from surgery.
  • I get to see my Mom almost every day.
  • Eli.
  • Emma is my snuggle partner from the moment I wake up till the moment I go to sleep.
  • The leaves are changing color (and I can see a couple trees that turn through my living room windows.)
  • Stacey (a friend from highschool) came to visit last night! It's been years since I've seen her.
  • 2 cute little baby blankets Stacey bought for us.
  • Simon and his new girlfriend Emily came to visit last night!
  • Eric came to visit last night!
  • Lisa (a preschool teacher from work) and her family stopped in to say hello and bring me kettle corn yesterday afternoon!
  • Kettle corn!
  • ymmy scented oils burning in our new oil burner.
  • the sounds of people out in the neighborhood.
  • Eli dressed up for church.
  • coupons.
  • Catching up on Project Runway.
  • Emails
  • Blogs
  • a clean house.
  • feeling productive even when you are sitting on the couch.
  • home made dinners
  • pumpkins on the porch
  • having little stress. Ironically, this is the first time in a long time when there hasn't been much to stress me out. As long as things keep going well, that is!
  • reading baby/parenting/twin books and planning for the future.
  • Hearing the mailman put mail in the mailbox.
  • prayers
  • all of the people who have offered their help and assistance.
  • good friends.
  • the challenge of keeping the Sabbath day holy when I can't go to church.
  • MUSICALS!
  • family
  • taking a shower (it's the longest stretch of time when I don't have to sit or lay down!)
  • a good doctor
  • hot chocolate
  • pumpkin pie
  • apple cider
  • the gospel (especially it's perspective on eternal families.)
  • soft baby things
  • my life.

Well, you're making me cry. I love it that our big extended, blended family is full of gratitude for the multiple blessing we have in our sweet lives...this, despite the toxicity of the world around us...if more and more people could find their blessing and their sense of gratitude, this world would mend very quickly....
