Who Do We Think We Are?

I'm so excited. Eli and I are going to be vacation maniacs this year. We are hoping to be able to visit Eli's sister Emily and her family out in California within the next few months. I always love visiting with them. (And I'm not just saying that because I know Emily will be reading this blog!) Then, in July, we are going on our annual Torch Lake, MI trip. It's so relaxing and it's great to be with everyone (Dad, Laura, and Laura's side of the family.) We had to rent a second house across the street to fit everyone this year. the family has really grown! And finally, we are going to Salt Lake City at the end of August. I have never been and I just can't wait! There is so much to do and we have so many friends to visit. But mostly, I am looking forward to going through the Salt Lake temple. I've never been to one besides the Columbus Temple, and it's A LOT smaller.

So, I figure that should break up the year a little bit! And even though this doesn't count as a trip, the Legge Family Reunion is being held in Columbus for the first time this year. That' s in June. So yet another event to look forward to. No one can say we haven't taken advantage of the time we have just the two of us.

Sounds like you will be having lots of fun...I'm jealous of all of the vacationing! Just be prepared for a VERY different experience in the Salt Lake Temple. Good, but REALLY different. I actually think that my experience there was one of my most meaningful temple experiences. Have fun!!!!

I'm so exited for you. Salt Lake is beautiful. My poppy woke us up at dawn to watch the sunrise over the mountains when we went. Totally different from California. Very spritual. Enjoy!!
