I have to make a reading recommendation. If you haven't read anything by Jodi Picoult, you must repent and start now. :) There is always one of her books on our bookshelves that I have recently checked out from the library. The last book I finished reading was Vanishing Acts. It was fantastic. All of her books are great to read if you are in a book club because there is so much to discuss. She really has a great handle on human relationships; their intricacies and dysfunctionalities. (Not a word, I know, but you get the point.) They are also packed with accurate information on so many different subjects from the legal and medical to Native American and Amish. Also, each book is written with a different literary convention. For instance, in both Vanishing Acts and My Sister's Keeper, each chapter is told from the viewpoint of one of the several main characters in the story. Picoult manipulates time in most of her stories, but has even gone as far as running a comic book throughout the story. So creative and enjoyable!

My Sister's Keeper was the first book of her's that I read and I could not put it down. Ever since, I have always a copy of one of her books on hand. So that's my plug. Enjoy!

Have you read Plain Truth or Salem Falls? I just finished Salem Falls and loved it, but Plain Truth and My Sister's Keeper are my all-time favorites. I liked The Tenth Circle a lot, too. Glad to hear you're also an addict!

Yes, this author is wonderful. I adore her. She's in the Elizabeth Berg class. Totally absorbing reads, always. Find time, find a comfy chair, find a hot cup of something (notice my tip of the hat to you Mormons out there?), and DEVOUR.

Thanks, I love getting book recommendations. I love reading and haven't read anything by her. I also love Elizabeth Berg, so I will probably like her too.
