The Longest Sentence Ever

It seems that because the twins are now 2 years old, they are doing things that require blog posts at every turn. I know it must be hard to keep up. But this being the sole way in which I record these memories, I just don't want to miss a thing!

Last night as I was making dinner, Charlie climbed up onto the bench at our kitchen table and said, "Pray?"

Me: "It's not time to eat yet. Do you still want to pray?"

Charlie: "Yes."

Me: "Okay. Fold your arms."

Charlie: folds his arms. "Dear Heavenly Father, bless this day in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Me: ?!?!?!?!?!

And thus we have Charlie's first prayer, and by FAR the longest phrase he has ever uttered. Be still my heart. :)

He IS a biggie. Tonight he said the prayer at bedtime without any prompting or help. He's magical. Oh my word...that face...and Livvy, oh my gosh...I'll upload the video of our conversation over dinner, complete with facial expression. I think she's Aunt Shirley returned to mortality...yes, Livvy is an 80-yr-old Jewish maven. SURPRISE!!! (NOT)
