Words, Words, Words

The past few days have brought an exciting change to our house. Charlie and Livy have both begun stringing words together for form little sentences! Liv's favorite sentence to say is, "Where is he?" Said with her hands up and a shrug of her shoulders. Even when she knows exactly where Charlie is, she'll still say it. :)

Charlie doesn't like to stick with one thing. For him, variety is the spice of life. So the other day, he woke up in the morning and was looking for his Brutus Buckeye in the toy bin. But Brutus wasn't there. Charlie gasped and said, "Brutus gone!" Then the next day, he woke up from nap and I brought him into the living room. Just as I was about to put him down, we heard Liv waking up. Again, he gasped and said, "Sis! Go get her!" THEN. The day after that, Eli left with our friend Adam for run to Microcenter. A minute or so after he'd left, I heard Charlie say, "Daddy! Daddy! Bye-bye car."

How joyous it is to hear my children learning to communicate with language! I'm just loving it.

Oh my word...I can HEAR them when I read this...

I was telling Emmy about Charlie's ability to give and take in conversation...how he said my name and talked about my glasses and how he could choose to have me put the glasses on me or on him (Charlie) and he would say, "Moo Moo"...over and over...I never got tired of watching him make the choice in his mind and then saying the words..he's so flipping ADORABLE!!!!

And Livvy was so fun to watch as she watched us...that was fun to watch her process...(for a change)...usually it's the other way around...

OPPOSITE DAY AT THE BOWMANS!!!!

Hugs to you. I'm getting ready to post a couple of the pictures of the kids at my place. I typically have to wait until all of the people that "typically" check out my blog have "tuned in" before I add another entry....so....IT'S ON TO THE TWINS!!!!!
