Painting

Today I FINALLY broke out the paint for Charlie and Olivia. It's late in coming, but they had their second experience with paint today. Their first time painting was when they were three months old and painted a picture with their feet for Eli's birthday. This time, we just had fun. I gave them colors that match the quilts their Aunt Holly is making them. I am hoping to let them paint on the brown paper until it is virtually covered and then hang it on the wall in their bedroom as art. Or display it in some other way on their wall. Here are the pics of the process.

They had a blast. And of course, they ended up painting themselves and the chairs more than the paper. I wish I could have framed those. :)

The absolute best! These pics are, once again, adorable.

Keep up the good work, honey.

Fun! Paint is fun!

You ought to try painting with a potato...cut the tater in half and then cut a shape out, like a stamp, or a recessed stamp. It's way fun. And good for chubby little hands to grab onto (Ella's, not mine).

I love painting with potatoes! I have a bunch of other "utensils" for them to use as well. I can't wait to break out the loofas. :)

I am so impressed, Abby! Clark is almost 3 and hasn't had this experience, yet. He would love a day at your house. But, come to think of it, I WOULD love a day at your house!
