Drum Roll Please...

We're buying a house! Some of you know, most of you don't. But we're buying a house! Because of the fiasco that ended our last attempt to purchase a home, we haven't been publicizing this much. But everything is set and we will close on the 13th, given that works for everyone.

The house is just perfect for us. It's a ranch in a neighborhood that seems very family friendly (there is an elementary school near by), and the house is on a cul-de-sac. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a fenced in backyard. The kitchen, carpet and roof are all new with brand new appliances that still have the manuals in them. :) It also has a very dated (aka UGLY) hall bath that will HAVE to be changed. But we're talking a major renovation here. No amount of painting is going to make the wood paneled back-splash and gazebo facade on the tub look good. But we'll get there eventually.

There is one part about this house that wasn't what we had originally intended...it's in Reynoldsburg, which is about 20-30 minutes east of where we were looking before. But we feel really good about the change. And we are just so excited to have a home of our own! We'll be in just in time for the holidays, and a very special double birthday party. ;) YAY!!

You're closing on the 13th??? That's FABULOUS! You'll have the keys before I even get into town. Oh...this is just so great, honey. Just. So. Great.

What a wonderful time in your lives. And a fenced in back yard...and a cul-de-sac, no less. You will love that. That's what we had when all of our kids were "new"...that was a great thing...less traffic, lower crime, the whole shebang. Oh! I am loving this. I'm so excited for you and Eli and the babies. And yes...what a very special first birthday is coming up, indeed.....

Oh, Yayyyyyyyyy! This one really sounds perfect! You'll have fun fixing it just the way you want it. So far in Columbus you have lived West, North and South, it makes perfect sense that you will now be living East! Love to you all. xoxoxo

I am so excited for you guys! Though I was sorry to hear that you won't be in our ward again. Oh well. I went to the Reynoldsburg ward the other day and as I was driving there I thought, this is really nice out here, I wouldn't mind living here. I'm seriously jealous about the house, I love ranches with fenced in back yards.

Just so you know. . .I am anxiously awaiting pictures of the new house. And, by anxiously, I mean sitting on the edge of seat, holding my breath, crying until you post some. YOu don't want to see me like this. .please just post some pictures. Please.
