Riverside Hospital: Day 49 (One More Week)

To be honest, I don't really know what to post today, but it seems like I should mark it in some way. One week from today Eli and I will no longer be a family of 2. Instantly, we will be a family of 4. The excitment and anticipation is building, and I think some apprehension is building as well. When I asked Eli last night if he was feeling ready for what lies ahead he said, "Yes. No." :) It's a little hard not knowing how things will play out, but I'm trying to just take everything as it comes. The key here is flexibility!

And though I know we will be thrown some curveballs, I'm feeling pretty good about things from the c-section to the adjustment of caring for two babies. My biggest fear at this point is getting the spinal for the c-section! But I am being told that it really isn't that bad. So I'll take everyone's word for it.

So that's where we are right now. Anticipating what is to come. Two wonderful little children! We are blessed.
