A Fantastic Day!

Two very wonderful things happened today. First, and this is the lesser of the two if you can believe it, Mom and Borky are moving back to Ohio and they have found a place to live! It is really happening, and I am so very glad. They had a rough time in Virginia, and that's putting it lightly. We are so happy to know that they are coming home. We have missed them.

The second thing has to do with a family at work. One of our toddlers had a baby brother born in December. He is next in line to be in my room at work. When the baby was 12 days old he got a virus that affected his heart and he has been in the hospital on life support since then. For a long time, they weren't sure whether or not little Jackson was going to make it, but today, he got a heart transplant. And it is beating on it's own. The next 48 hours are critical, but this is such amazing news to his family, and everyone at work. There has been such an outpouring of love and help and prayers. He has been prayed for in the temple, and the Lord has listened. What a sweet thing it is to know that this little boy has a second chance at life.

Yay for your mom moving back! I remember their move to VA being sort of stressful; I'd hoped that it would've gotten better! BUT it's awesome that they'll be back. Moms are so very important.

And we'll put Jackson in our prayers, too. Sounds like he's a miracle!

Short time reader (this is my first time), first time poster here. That other "Brian" is actually Sarah. Anyway, glad to hear that you are finally getting near graduation time. Life has been pretty busy down in the Nnati, but please call, and I will make a better effort to call as well.

It does this old mom's heart VERY good to know that her daughter and son-in-law are happy that we're moving back to Ohio. We couldn't be happier, either. I don't know how people move from place to place with such seeming ease, but as for me, there's no place like home.

And God love that little Jackson to pieces! That trumps good news about moving to Ohio ANY DAY.
